Storage And Blending Of Organic Pigments
Pigments are commonly used in daily life because they are purchased in large quantities and cannot be used up. However, they are afraid of mold and do not know what to do. In response to this situation, organic pigment manufacturers suggest that everyone do so.
Immediately cap the bottle cap and store the unfinished paint and pigment in a cool and dry place (in summer, cover the surface of the glass bottle with a damp cotton towel or other cloth to reduce temperature). Usually, when the capacity is large, it can be stored for more than half a year. If the capacity is small, the storage period will be shortened. After the pigment is not needed for a long time, if you are willing to reapply it, you can dip your finger on the surface of the pigment. If there is also viscosity, you can add water or adjust the diluent. If there is no viscosity at all, it indicates that the pigment has already broken its emulsion and cannot be diluted again!
Many people want to ask whether it is necessary to use professional dispensing. Now explain that acrylic paint can be diluted with tap water, and perhaps it can also be used as a dispensing. Paintings with dispensing are brighter in color than those with water. The fading layer has been tested by the editor and the difference is not significant. But there will be a significant difference in tactile sensation, as those that have been adjusted are much harder than those that do not need to be adjusted.
